Understand our process for returns and refunds to ensure a smooth experience.

Delivery Information

We offer delivery across Australia. Your item will be shipped via Australia Post Express, and you’ll receive a tracking number by email once it’s dispatched. We aim for delivery to arrive on or before your chosen date.

The delivery fee is $25, which includes a prepaid Express Post satchel for returns. For larger packages, the delivery fee is $40. Detailed instructions for returning your item will be provided with your package. Please do not clean or dry-clean the garment—this is part of our service. You will only be charged for stains if they are permanent and cannot be removed through dry-cleaning.

Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a full refund, including postage, under the following circumstances:

  • The item arrived in an unacceptable condition
  • You received the wrong item
  • The item significantly differs from its description on our website

To qualify for a refund, the item must be returned to us immediately and prior to your event date. Items returned after the scheduled event will not be eligible for a refund.

Please note:

  • Items must be unworn to qualify for a refund. Try-ons are acceptable.
  • Items that have been worn for an event are not eligible for a refund, even if they were delayed or not as expected.

Cancellation 

Luxwardrobe Rentals does not offer refunds for cancelled bookings. Instead, eligible cancellations will receive a store credit, minus a $30 cancellation fee.

To qualify for store credit, cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to your hire start date.

Please note:

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the hire start date are not eligible for credit.
  • Store credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and will expire if not used within that time.
  • Once a store credit is used to place a new booking, the sale is final and cannot be changed or cancelled again.
  • This policy applies regardless of fit, so we encourage you to check sizing carefully or reach out with questions before booking

DELIVERY DELAYS

At LuxWardrobe Rentals, we dispatch orders early to minimise delivery risks. However, we are not liable for delays caused by Australia Post or any third-party couriers.

If your item arrives too late for your event and is returned unworn, you are eligible for a 110% store credit, valid for 6 months. This credit includes your original hire fee and shipping cost, and is our way of ensuring fairness while acknowledging that delivery delays are out of our control.

Please note: refunds will not be issued for delayed deliveries, only store credits.
