Rental Start Days & Weekend Delivery
Due to courier schedules, Monday cannot be selected as the first day of a rental period, and deliveries are not available on weekends.
If your event is on a Monday, customers may either select an 8-day rental period to ensure the item arrives in time, or contact our team to confirm whether a Tuesday return can be arranged.

At LuxWardrobe, we deliver Australia-wide and always aim to ensure your dress arrives in time for your event.
Most orders are shipped via Australia Post Express, and you will receive a tracking number by email once dispatched. Depending on the location and delivery ETA, we may also use other courier services, especially for WA, SA, or last-minute orders, to minimise delays and ensure the fastest delivery.
The delivery fee is $25, which includes a prepaid Express Post return satchel. For larger packages, the delivery fee is $40. Return instructions will be included with your parcel.
Please do not wash or dry-clean the garment, as cleaning is part of our service. You will only be charged if permanent stains remain after dry-cleaning.
While we always select the fastest and most reliable shipping option, delivery delays may occasionally occur and are outside of our control.
You are eligible for a full refund, including postage costs, under the following conditions:
- The item you received is in an unacceptable condition.
- You were sent the wrong item.
- The item you received significantly differs from what was described on our website.
Please note: If a delay occurs due to the courier and the parcel does not arrive on your chosen delivery date, you will be eligible for store credit equal to 110% of your hire fee, including the shipping cost. This ensures fairness for both our customers and our business.
Please note that if the items have been worn (try-ons are acceptable), you will lose the right to a refund for the reasons listed above. However, if the items were worn and you believe that one of these issues caused.
If you wish to cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Luxwardrobe Rentals does not offer refunds for cancellations only store credit, minus a $30 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made at least 30 days before the hire date to be eligible for credit.
Store credits are valid for 12 months and cannot be extended. Once used, the booking is final and not eligible for further cancellations or changes, including fit issues.
Exchanges are allowed if the requested item is available (not already booked). If exchanged 30+ days prior to your rental date, the $30 fee is waived. Price differences will be adjusted accordingly, you’ll be charged the extra if the new item is more expensive.
